The place to see and share photographs of reflections
Excellent shot and caption. I love how you tilted the camera upwards.
This caption so tells the story of this. Love it :)
Stunning shot James! The view is captured beautifully - well done!Love the title. My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
must say I like the statue more than the buildings
What a glorious sky, even if only see in snatches.Marnie
Wow! This shot is so touching!
I am getting so provincial, I thought that was New York City! Great shot with the statue in the forefront, almost as if he is looking on with us.
Beautifully framed image. I like skywatching this way too :)
like this capture james. the statue against the buildings and of course the gorgeous blue sky. great capture.have a lovely weekend.
Fabulous shot, James! Love the title and couldn't agree more. Buildings do tend to block our view of the beauty in the sky, but how do you get along without them??? Have a great weekend!
Great shot and title. A bit oppressive, as probably intended, with the sky as something really to watch.
A great picture! Captured with a twist of humor;)Have a great weekend!
It really is a wonderful city.
LOL! One could imagine that the statue was there before the buildings. :-)
Hi, James, I love your post, very funny.P.S. That certainly is the Harbor Freeway, facing north bound.
That is a great photo.. and a great caption. It is easy to feel that way in Philly sometimes, you really need to LOOK up to get past all the tall buildings these days! Sometimes I don't think Philly gets the credit it is due, stuck between DC and NY!
Brilliant capture James, I love this pic.Have a great weekend.GuyRegina In Pictures
Great shot, James. Nice angle on it!
Very good, as has been oft said, great caption.
You really have to look up to see the sky in that part of Philladelphia! You got some great shots of the place where a lot of our independance started.
What a picture! I loved the title too.. obstructed view... Good one again James!
Nice subject and shot.
Just love this, James! Fantastic shot and fun concept! :D
Hi James... Great photo, I like the angle of this shot! Fabulous sky too.I thought that was you I saw lying down by the statue taking a few photos. I was going to stop and say hi but my hubby said there already were to many people standing around watching you :DHave a wonderful weekend...
Yeah i see the blue sky. But i love building photos too. :)Thank you for the visit today.Happy weekend!Arlenehttp://www.midlifedancing.com/
Amazing shot James! That is such a great angle.
Terrific angle shot. Lovely skies. Great statue.
Greetings, James! Delightful photo. Love the way you composed it. Those buildings are imposing, and the statue gives the picture just the right touch!
Architecture photography par excellence, James.
Well, I am peeping in between those obstructions. They sky still looked heavenly with your summer clouds.
I was right near this statue this week James. And all those BIG tall buildings too. They give me a headache. Well, not really the buildings, but the drive to the buildings at 8 am. That gives me a headache.
I very much like this shot! Wonderful angle and the statue makes it perfect.
Very imposing massive buildings and the statue is a perfect counterpoint.
LOL !! yes, he could very well be saying that :-)Very cool composition and shot !!
Ooo, I like this a lot - full of all sorts of interesting contrasts.
