Little house in the big Woods

The house is small, the trees are big and flying bugs were out in force. I think this is a very old house that has been preserved. The colors seem out of place but it's kind of cute.

A lovely scene. Do you think it may have been a place for storage because it has no windows? It's very cute.

It is very cute! It's curious what it was used for...maybe elves lived in it? Beautiful scenery and photo!

Cute little house, the trees are gorgeous with glimpse of fall, we are spared the bugs.
Funny coincidence of colors with my post!

Love the title - by coincidence I've just finished re-reading the Little House books! Someone's obviously very fond of this little house.

I think it's cute too. And that tree is awesome! Sorry to hear about the bugs though.

Do people actually live there? Is it.. like some random meadow.. and just a tiny house on it?

Aha, it looks more like a playhouse than anything else. ;)

A bit bigger than a Wendy house, but still charming, yes :)

James,

This little house is adorable! I love the wood door. I wonder if someone lives there...

Great shot. I love the first shot! I appears that you are peeking around the tree. Very nice!

Very cute and very small...that first shot with the huge tree gives it scale...

I'd guess it must be (have been) a building for kids...or a really big dog! ;-)

Now thats a find and a half.. I'm so glad this as been looked after so well... one thing puzzles me abot the door at the top... the bit that is showing should be on the inside I'm sure... another little bit of quirkiness to building.

I really like it! The colors are nice too, even it they are out of place. It looks like a kids' playhouse to me.

Maybe a house for elves?

It is surprisingly little - the contrast with the "big dark forest" is amazing!

did they class it as "heritage" as well? I can live there.

I like the bright colors. The house looks like a children's play house.
