Old Time Reflection (Weekend Reflections #31)

Hello everybody. I'm back and ready for the reflections! During my break I decided to start a six month mostly black and white project over at my Something Sighted blog. Hopefully I'll be able to improve my black and white photo skills during that time. When that project is finished I'll start another project that I'm really, really looking forward to (more details to follow). :)

Hi James, this is so creative. How'd you do that with the B/W refelction?
It is great that you can start a project. This is very remarkable!

One can find both visual and mental reflections in this one. A great find.

Oh, this is just good in so many ways! Love it.

what a great photo...love the b&w inside colour, but what really stands out is that you're taking the photo from the car...but no road is in sight just the grass & parking lot. (is it?)

Carolyn Ford said...

I am so amazed with this! First of all, the car was parked exactly in the right place to reflect the horse and buggy so perfectly, nothing is left out. Secondly...the black and white separated from the color! I am so impressed! Very very good, James!

This is just a perfect reflection shot, James! How many hundreds of years between the two vehicles do you figure? :)

Have a wonderful weekend! I can't join again this week but I hope to do so when I get back to my regular programming.

Good to have you back James. I missed my PA fix! Excellent reflection, very creative concept.

The black and white is such a good idea. I'm sure it will be a great learning experience and I'm looking forward to following along on that journey.

Always a pleasure!

It is the artistic moment when past and present is mixed.

I learned splendor of the photography from this work.

From the Far East.

Love the mono framing and the touch of colour background!

Outstanding shot James! I really like the juxtaposition of color and B&W, of new and old. Perfect framing. Ya done good!!!

I'm late today. I was out on my bicycle for hours today. Went for a long ride to visit my mother. I had one of my Nikons with me but I wasn't in the mood so I didn't take a single picture.

We live in Amish country, but I never thought of this! Excellant James.
