A Beautiful Day

We've had heatwave after heatwave in Newtown this summer but the temperature dropped below 90F so I decided to step out and take a few shots the other day. I wish I knew what type of plant is growing here?
Does anyone else think the cloud looks like the side view of an anglerfish swiming toward the left?

It looks like a potato field to me!
A very nice one, let's hope it's not the New Leaf (Monsanto)!!

I love the colors! That field seems to extend into infinity! And now that you point it out, the cloud does look like an angelfish peacefully making its way through life. Beautiful mood!

Yes, Angle Fish, good eye! I love the depth of the blue color.

The blues and greens together are really stunning.
I do see the fish :) and I think those are potatoes but I'm not completely sure.

Enjoy the reasonable temperatures. My sister, who is in to Connecticut says that this summer was worse than Dallas, her last home city.

I see the angelfish! What a cool cloud. When I first saw it, I thought it looked like the head of a dog or a dragon - facing the right with it's mouth open - ready to devour the blue of the day.

The peaceful space lets me forget heat for a while.

The scattered clouds seem to swim to the left direction.

Because it may have a shape of the fish. And it faces it towards the left.

The sea of the Ultramarine blue. . .
And one white fish. . .

From the Far East.
Greetings.

My first guess was soybeans, but, in that part of Pennsylvania, it could be potatoes. Yes. I see the angler fish.

Love this photo and I saw the fish right away (even before you mentioned) but I'm one of the always-seeing-things-in-clouds people anyway. I think it sort of makes my friends crazy

Heatwave is one irksome Summer condition. I can't breath ... so suffocating.

Love the beautiful greenery find here. The sky looks nonchalant of the high heat you're having.

The greens and blue contrast is beautiful. such a bright lovely picture. We are on a roadtrip heading up the Eastern seaboard from Florida -- temp-wise it appears we may as well have stayed home . Except there are all those new lovely places to see.

I too see a fluffy flying Angel Fish, James.
Tater farms are common in Pa. A lot of them become delicious chips.

I'm with Fred, that looks like soybeans to me. But maybe you don't grow them that far north. Your cloud looks fishy to me.
