The Fall Colors of Bucks County

Being from the West Coast I'd heard about how beautiful it gets in this part of the country, but I didn't fully realize it until I saw for myself. Here are a couple of shots that I took last year during my first "real" autumn season. Once again the colors are starting to change and pretty soon we'll have another explosion of colors.

Thank you James for sharing these pretty Autumn pics. Here in Georgia, everything is still green but it won't be long til we see some color! Enjoy your day.

Oh, this is from *last* year! I didn't think it was this colorful yet. I'm wondering if we will get as a colorful a fall, as the summer was quite dry.

Stunning scenery.

Not exactly sure where Bucks County is - but I'd love to visit in the Fall if it looks like this.

James, this is so perfectly beautiful that they could be greeting cards or 1,500 piece jigsaw puzzles! Love that ribbon of blue, too!

Beautiful photos! I love the colors and am hoping that the drought and hot summer will not interfere with this year.

I'm with you. I had no idea how wonderful Fall colors could be, until I visited New England in the Fall.

Just breathtaking! I'm hoping we'll have a riot of color down our way this year, too. The trees haven't started to change yet, but the weather sure has...

Were you up in a hot air balloon, a hang glider, or simply on top of a high hill requiring some arduous climbing to get to the top where the view spreads away... into a sea of glorious colors. Is that the Delaware ? Or a tributary to it ? Fire on the mountain...

I was roaming back roads of Pennsylvania last week, but the colors weren't quite to this point yet, they were just starting to change, though already lovely...

Oh I do miss the sight of autumn in PA! These take my breath away. I can smell the crisp air and hear the crackle of leaves underfoot. I hope we can look forward to more like these this year!

My corner of the world is like California: we NEVER have those kinds of colors..There are not many (not enough?..) differences between seasons. Sometimes, I find it boring!

This looked gorgeous! We have the same kind of autumn season - only wetter :-)

Glorious James! What an impressive array of colors you've captured. I love fall and it has arrived here with cooler temps and rain. However tomorrow it may reach the 70s here on the coast!

Rhââââ ces couleurs ! C'est trop magnifique !

(sorry for those words in French, but that was just my heartfelt expressing itself here...)

James, those colors are really beautiful. In Brittony, the area where I live in France the tree aren't changing of color yet (they will only in two or three weeks from now) ; so thank you for this foretaste of autumn...

'Tis the season of colors. Excellent shots James. I took the roll of slide film out of the fridge last night. Soon...soon and I'll shoot some color.
