Blooming Trees (Weekend Reflections # 94)

Newport Beach, California

This glass building has an interesting golden color that made these tree reflections really stand out. I'm going back when I have more time to take pictures.

If needed, please click the link near the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

Like Dina, I couldn't help noticing how the colored glass affects the color of the reflected blooms. Lovely!

Ooh I would like that. I can see the way the purple warms in the reflection vs. the live tree blossoms. Looks like a fun place to spend time. It's like golden hour without having to wait for it.

Great way to double the pleasure of the lilacs, James. :)

Love the warm colors James. Your photo gives reflective glass a whole new meaning (a good one!).

Yeah!I did it!! Clicking nervously on many points and finally succeeded..Not sure to be able to do it again! :o)

The reflection is so pure! And is it me, or the flowers have a different color in real and in reflection?..Somebody is taking a good care of those windows..

Have a nice week-end!

Beautiful, James, crepe myrtle is one of my favorite trees. It loves the heat and we have plenty of that in California in the summer.

Wonderful James!

Very nice! It's so clear that it's hard to tell it's a reflection.

Oh the colours! Have a great weekend!

Given the two different colors of the blooms and the clarity of the mirror image, you could almost convince me that it's not a reflection. But I know better, of course. :~} This is brilliant, James!

You're next trip sounds great! Switzerland would be awesome to see. Sadly, I'm already planning my next trip too, I say sadly because I'm no where near ready to take it, economically speaking.
