Beautiful Venice (Weekend Reflections # 128)

Venice, Italy

I've been away on a trip all week. Unfortunately, it's business not pleasure, but I'm leaving you with a photo from my last pleasure trip. I hope you enjoy it. I should be back tomorrow.

Please only link posts that have picture/s of reflections.

Good Morning! My choice for WR is up. It was taken while on vacation last week.

James, Venice is probably my second favorite city (after Paris, bien sûr) and this is a beautiful reflection with the stillness of the morning hours. Great shot and a wonderful display of the varied architecture.

bon weekend,
Genie

I know exactly where you took this fabulous shot, James—standing on the Ponte dei Pugni. Love it!

Great shot James. The blue sky reflected in the water is more real than the real thing.

I love the contrast of the sunny and shady sides of the canal
and the rippled reflections are so so pretty

The still waters of the Venice smaller canals are perfect for reflection shots. Wonderful, James.

Beautiful canal scene in stunning light! Interesting how the buildings on the left seem "crinkled" in reflection while, in the same water, the shapes on the right seem defined and still!
