Winter Framed (Weekend Reflections # 292)

Holland, PA

A snowy scene reflected in a restaurant window.

Now it's May and winter is long gone.

Have a great weekend!

Le muguet du premier mai...I'd forgotten about that!! This is such a lovely photo - I thought "Andrew Wyeth' when I first saw it!

I don't miss winter, but I love this image.

It's a delightful picture - and poem too. I like Lily of the Valley but rarely see it these days. I miss its scent.

Yes, I think that's something we can all agree on: it's May and the winter is gone (in the mountains, not that long ago though:) ) Have a wonderful Spring weekend!

A very sharp reflection! Someone worked hard to keep that window clean, or was it scoured by the snow and wind? (Linkey was not very friendly as it would not let me display my reflection photos, so I posted the only one I could select.)

Beautiful snowy scene ... so glad it is just a memory. I have had enough of the cold weather to last me a lifetime and we are just now barely getting into something more spring like. Your picture makes me appreciate that it is in the 70's today :) Nice one, James ...

A wonderful reflection James - nicely framed too! (I'm afraid the poem was lost on me as I didn't study French)

Not really missing the snow, but I always think it makes a pretty picture. Nice reflection shot!

this is a stunning reflection James. I like the opposite colors of the wall and the "painting". Gorgeous!

Thanks for hosting and wishing you a happy spring!.
