Waterfall Reflections (Weekend Reflections # 448)

Newtown, Pennsylvania

Reflections of trees and sky at the edge of a small waterfall. Thankfully I was quick enough to capture the reflection before it tumbled down the falls. ;-)

Happy Reflecting

Hello James,
a great reflection, as it is always the case with water, I like that very much.

Greetings Eva

Wonderful that the water above the falls was so still. I would have expected irregularities at the edge of the waterfall to create some ripples back upstream, but come to think about it, the water is traveling faster than any possible ripples

After reading your text, the "line" of the trees made sense! Ingenious reflection, James:) Thanks for hosting!

interesting contrast of lower and upper part of the water, upper being so still and enabling clear reflection. nice one.
