This barn is now being used as a garage.
So far Weekend Reflections has gotten bigger every week. Thank you to everyone who participates!
I think it's great seeing all of the reflections. My goal is to comment on every single Weekend Reflection post by Sunday night. As far as I know that's what I've done so far. I also like the challenge of finding reflections to post.
"Weekend Reflections" rules are simple:
1)Post a *reflection photograph that was taken by you. (*A photo that contains a reflection)
2)After I post my Weekend Reflections photo, add your name, country and link to MckLinky
3)Be sure that your link goes directly to your Weekend Reflections post.
4)Comment on other Weekend Reflections participant’s blogs.
Feel free to be creative. Remember this meme is for any type of reflection.
This meme runs Friday 11 am EST through Sunday, so feel free to link your post anytime within that time frame. Join the fun!
Thanks James, you're a great host...it wouldn't be that much bigger if you weren't. This is a cool shot, as always. Have a happy weekend and hope your back is now well.

ReplyDeleteWell done! I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteI just found out that my comment on your photo is not here. So I will post again. That is a beautiful reflection photo from the mirror of your car? I just wrote an explanation in my blog about one of the photo's I posted . I hope people will see what it is all about. The stream is made by nature. Would you care to look again if you can find the time?
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
Very Nice,
ReplyDeleteI am having a go at it this weekend, My friends Thom and Cindy play the game every weekend and it looks like fun.
James, that's an extraordinary photo of reflection! thanks for hosting! Mine's up and waiting! :)
ReplyDeleteTRhank you for looking at my blog again. We call those grounds near the river willow grounds. There are only a few left in Holland. In my first post for weekend reflections I had a photo of the little willow path. That path is always dry, the water gets to the young trees. The willow toes are still used for basket weaving. I must about this some other time.
ReplyDeleteAn appropriate and great shot. Happy Weekend Reflections to everyone.
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome reflection photo, James!
ReplyDeleteJames, I love your reflection. The angle is so "odd", it had me squinting. You've done a great job with this meme.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, awesome reflection image! Intense colours too. I haven't had the chance to shoot late. If I do, I hope I remember to try on some reflection shots.
ReplyDeleteJames, this is an awesome shot! The colors are so crisp, and what a cool image.

Wonderful shot James! & thank you again for hosting.

Good job! Those round mirrors give a nice reflection...
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I need to get some reflection photos. Headed to the Acad of Natural Science downtown tomorrow. Hopefully we will arrive a little early and I will have some time to get some urban shots outside before we meet our blog friends to celebrate a little dinosaur lover's birthday!
ReplyDeleteAn innovative shot. I like when older buildings are put to new uses.
ReplyDeleteI love that photo. What a beautiful way to shoot the barn!
ReplyDeleteWonderful image, I love this kind of shot and you have really found a perfect mirror.
ReplyDeleteHi James,
ReplyDeleteI figured this was as good a place as any to let you know what I'm up to. You've commented that you are experimenting with converting color images to B&W. I found a nice slide that I'm using for my monday macro this week. Just because I had to know, I converted the color image to B&W. It worked out quite well.
I've decided to do a tutorial for Monday, illustrating how I made the conversion.
I usually post my monday post late Sunday evening. Of course it should be there bright and early Monday.
John
Perfect shot!
ReplyDeleteLove the clarity, detail and the colours!
You have created such a wonderful meme, that you need a lot of to visit everybody, James! Thanks anyway for this brilliant idea!
ReplyDeleteThats a cool shot... and a nice looking barn. James, I have the creative blogger award I would like to pass on to you. I realize that some people don't like to get these awards etc...but I had to include you because you have been an inspiration to me. I started following your blog when you lived in Irving , before I was even a blogger, and you have helped me without even knowing....
ReplyDeleteBeautifully creative shot! I love how the mirror gives the barn a round frame.
ReplyDeleteExcellent interpretation of the Weekend Reflection meme!
ReplyDeleteRe your comment at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo, yes, «Louis et Mme la Vache» live in the high-rise condos facing the Bay on the west side of Albany Hill.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great clear shot! I really love the way it looks almost like a fish eye lens. Thanks for hosting this, it's alot of fun and I'm looking at things differently looking for reflections. Kathy
