This is a reflection of the Opéra Garnier. And as you can see on the backward/reflected street signs, it's also a reflection of the intersection of Ave. de Opéra and Blvd. des Capucines. Try not to notice that part of my hand is reflected in the bottom left corner. :-)
This is the place to see and share reflections. Click the rules tab above for more information.
A Reflection = An
image given back by a reflecting surface. A PHOTOGRAPH of a REFLECTION(s).
beautiful light and fantastic reflection - i'd give you a hand, but i see you already have one. ;)ReplyDelete
A little vignetting will obscure your hand :-) That's a cool reflection, the cars are very sharp.ReplyDelete
Such a dreamy shot! The light, the building itself...and the reflection gives it that 'je ne sais quoi' which transports me! Thanks for the Paris love, it's always lifts my spirits!ReplyDelete
The backward text is nice. I probably would have thought the hand was a person or vehicle moving out of the shot if you hadn't confessed.ReplyDelete
beautiful golden reflection James!ReplyDelete
Hand? What hand? ;) All I see is a beautiful reflection!ReplyDelete
fabulous reflection..it even has a bit of a tilt-shift(miniaturization) feel about it. Love the blurred background and how the Opera House really stands out.ReplyDelete
Superbe vraiment,bravo ;o)ReplyDelete
fantastic! the building looks like it's gilded with gold! Paris has so much beauty in it.ReplyDelete
Very fine... I love to look to Paris with your eyes... and reflections.ReplyDelete
Superb reflection and beautiful building. Thanks for hosting and have a lovely weekendReplyDelete
Your hand fits right in there, James :) Wow, it's a long time ago that I saw such a classical renaissance building - it's beautiful at night!ReplyDelete
Fantastic reflection of a beautiful building...ReplyDelete
Tout est à l'envers, c'est génial !ReplyDelete
(You shouldn't have drawn attention to your hand. I probably wouldn't have noticed!)
What a delightful subject! You know that I love the gold-tones of a Paris evening, too.ReplyDelete
Wonderful light and a wonderful part of the city! And of course I did not try to ignore your hand :)ReplyDelete
A nice "handful"...what a perfect reflection!!...:)JPReplyDelete
The reflection is so clear! But for the backward-reflected letters and street signs, the photo looks like a regular photo. Well done.ReplyDelete
Very nice street view and reflections! Love Paris!!ReplyDelete
Thanks for hosting this meme.
Have a Beautiful Day, James!
Didn't notice a thing James :) Opera Garnier is such a beautiful building in reflection.ReplyDelete
At first sight I didn't notice it was a reflection, so clear and bright!ReplyDelete
Ich musste sehr genau hinsehen um zu erkennen, dass es eine Reflection ist !ReplyDelete
