Newtown Hardware House (Weekend Reflections # 442)

Newtown, Pennsylvania

"Newtown Hardware has been in continuous operation from the same location in the heart of Newtown, PA since its establishment in 1869."

So this reflection could have been seen almost 150 years ago. It just couldn't have been photographed in color.   ;-)

Please remember to link your specific Weekend Reflections post !

This is the place to see and share reflections. Click the rules tab above for more information.  A Reflection =  An image given back by a reflecting surface.  A PHOTOGRAPH of a REFLECTION or REFLECTIONS.

  1. I love traditional hardware stores, and this looks like a great one. Also great reflection. Have a good weekend.

  2. In my past places of residence I have seen three really nice local hardwood stores bite the dust, thanks to Home Depot and Lowes. You can't beat the proprietor or long-time employees who really know their store inside and out. This is remarkable and quite a handsome old building as well.
