American Graffiti Diner (Weekend Street/Reflections # 70)

 Bologna, Italy

Looking trough the window I saw a big Italian smile in a kitschy American-style diner. She seemed pleased to see me. I didn't go inside but I've been to a few similar places in Europe. Some of the best hamburgers I've had were in France.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.

Please no posed pictures, portraits, animals, etc. unless of course there is a reflection.

  2. I hate these colors, but love the unending reflections! Sorry, James I am linking a similar photo as I have in my post (which I saved somewhere, but can't find it back). Have a great weekend!

  4. I like the Hot Dogs in France better than their hot dogs. We've been to Bologna and may have eaten outside at that same corner you were at. No one to smile through the window though.

  5. What a fun place. The 1957 Chevy is certainly iconic for that era. You might check out the food here. It could be good. I know of a diner that has a 1950s theme where the food is very good, but they don't have any actual 1950s cars in the diner.

  6. I meant to say that I like the French hot dogs better than their "Hamburgers". The simple one is to have the sausage poked down into a baguette. Better that I like is served open on the sliced baguette and dressed with lettuce and tomatoes and other good stuff.
