The other night I looked through a window at a Starbucks in Philadelphia and noticed the logo reflected in another window at the other side of the store. The siren seems to be hovering above the walking man but in reality he was across the street.

I took this shot on a very hot day. It was so hot that I decided to take a short-cut through a sports bar that is located above the train station. I was rewarded with a wonderful blast of cool air and a cool reflection to boot. I probably should have moved the menu from the bar because it obscured the reflection of the couple on the left. Oh well, I had to catch a train. :-)

Philadelphia's City Hall building reflected in a window of another building. Actually, this is just the top part of the building. It's not easy to get more than that without a wide angle lens. The Philadelphia City Hall Building used to be the tallest habitable building in the world (1894-1908).
Yes, this is a reflection. Look on the right side and you will see two recessed lighting circles and the ceiling lines inside of the building. :-)

I had just noticed that the stonework at the bottom of this building was reflective, when suddenly a deliveryman "volunteered" unknowingly to be this week's reflection. :-)

This is the window of a place that sells glasses. Their slogan is "see differently". I guess I did because this is what I saw. The eye is actually a mural inside of the shop and everything else is a reflection.

Me: "Because if there is one type of photography that I like more than reflections, it's street photography. I couldn't pass up this mixture of both."
Well, at least that's how I imagine it would have went down if I stayed there long enough. However, when doing candid shots, I like to stop, click, then keep walking. :-)

A few weeks ago my wife and I stopped at Miel Patisserie in Philadelphia for a pastry and some coffee. The coffee and pastry were good and so were the reflections on the granite counter top. Thankfully we got to sit in front of the window. :-)

When I was a kid I had a board game called "Sorry!". The pieces were yellow, green, red and blue and looked like this yellow game piece, only much smaller. Blue was always my favorite but this time yellow won. :-)

The building at the end of the street and reflected in the glass on the right is Philadelphia City Hall. I can't think of a better place than Philadelphia for Weekend Reflections on The 4th of July.

Believe it or not, the two women in the bottom middle window are a part of a large mural that was across the street. I had to walk around a little to capture this reflection, because when I stood a little to the left or right they weren't centered.
