A church on Green street

I saw more than one church on my walk after the penitentiary trip. This one is on Green street about two blocks from the brownstones that I posted the other day.
If you enlarge the bottom one you can see the dove flying right above the center cross.

  3. It's one fine architecture that makes you wonder how did those builders do it? The intricate design alone, its height and dimension; considering in those times, am sure there was no such thing as Crane the modern builders are using today?

One fantastic blog to share from you James. Thanks for sharing.

  9. That last picture, with the dove, is one elegant photograph. The details are fantastic. And the wrought iron fence, painted green is struggling with rust. In the end rust will win but right now it looks like a toss up.

  10. James, I have the Rebel XSI, I got it in March and love it. There were many that wer similar in specifications and price, I chose this because of the 3" screen, because I'm 51 and can't see a darned thing close up anymore!

I'm not at all a "technical" photographer, I want to take a course and learn more about aperture, etc. I have the lens that came with the camera kit(EFS 18-55mm) (which they might tell you "know one uses", but I have seen some amazing photography, even macro shots, and when I asked what lens, they tell me the one that comes with it! I also have a Canon EFS 55-250 mm telephoto zoom lens. Lenses are so expensive, I think it's good that I don't know much about them!

You will do amazing with whatever camera you have.
