Simba is a beautiful kitty and you've captured her magnificently in this photo. I recognize this look from watching Ms Kitty watching birds in my yard. Hugs and blessings,
I didn't now Lucy has a furbrother :) Simba is also a beautiful cat, he has the same color fur like Kareltje :) Have fun Simba with watching the birds =^.^=
My cat Molly looks like that when I scold her, then she runs off at a hundred miles an hour. Well may not quite that fast! I love ginger cats and Simba is very handsome! Sunny :)
I think Simba is so photogenic! He is staring at the lens and very much in concentration. I don't know how you can keep him still. P.S. There were four fires yesterday concurrent, but the Palos Verdes fires are already 100% contained. So no ocean breezes for us. Maybe we will see a movie tomorrow to keep cool. Its going to be 102. My main blog is here.
Even though I have a penchant for Red-heads, I'm sure my Mr. Beaks would have something to say about where Simba's gaze is focusing. Simba certainly does have a very relaxed attitude about him though.
Congrats James! Your work is a pearl of art, Simba is fabulous beautiful in this picture! I think he is awesome as well! :) purrs and love Luna and mommy
Gosh so beautiful! We once had a ginger cat but he was too wild for me to handle. He was not socially tamed by the owner and he refused to come with us when we moved to the eastern part of the city. I miss him nevertheless and I cried for losing him. (what a softie sob story I can tell of all places).
Hope Simba continues with her pleasant mood to suit the moods of her masters. :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking guy Simba is! And like Jacob says, it's the eyes that tell the story! Great shot, James! And give Simba a chin scratch for me!

Do I see a yummy bird reflected in Simba's eye. MB
ReplyDeleteIf concentration alone could do it, that would be one caught bird!
ReplyDeleteMy cat used to talk when a bird was inside - the lower jaw starts vibrating - and a voice - almost human comes out. Yum!
