Construction worker taking a break in Philadelphia.
Actually I was trying to get a shot of the skyline when this construction worker who was deep into is phone call stood in front of me. I chose to take the picture with him in it, and to be honest I'm glad he stood there. Now he should go fix the crooked buildings. ;-)
Most unique everyday life photo, James. I agree with you, its better than just a skyline. Although you do that perspective very well too...
ReplyDeleteI really like your water love shot below :)
I was annoyed the other week at VF when a woman would not move out of MY way of taking a picture of the arch. I was so far away, she had no clue... but still! When I looked at the picture, I really liked it, because of the stance she had. (I think she was waiting for her dog to take care of business!) Sometimes the people just work!
ReplyDeleteI think he adds another interesting element to your excellent picture.
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
Oh yes, there's the network... very interesting photo... :-) nicely shot!
ReplyDeleteMan! Philly has added a bit since my last visit! great mix of old and new, in this shot.
ReplyDeleteune belle skyline, j'aime bien cette architecture
ReplyDeleteI was angry at people walking in my photos, but then I realized that they really add something of real life to a frozen image of building. Very good shot, perfect with that worker!
ReplyDeleteIs true: that your photos is really beautiful also for the human presence!
ReplyDeleteYou never cease to amaze me. What a great photo and great caption :)
ReplyDeleteAgree the guy enhances the photo. I took a photo that appeared on my blog of Belgrade's Honey Fair. I had meant it to be a sneak shot of the seller, when two guys walked in front of me (partially) with umbrellas. The photo was the better for it.
ReplyDeleteDo you know we have exactly the same kind of colorful tourist signs here???
This picture is modern and adorable!I like this guy, he has a fabulous well decorated hard hat!He is also fashion even when he is working! ;)
ReplyDeleteBy the way I like your signature!
God bless you

I think he adds a lot to the picture! It's a wonderful city scene and I like those murals on that building.
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo, worker and all.
ReplyDeleteOftentimes people in a photo MAKE the photo. That's a busy road; it doesn't look like traffic is moving at all. I like the squared off, triangle topped and pointy buildings in the background.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Colonial Williamsburg. Our drive is much farther than it would be for you. It took us 10 hours to drive home on Tuesday! I believe we could have made it home in 8 hours, if we would have stuck to the Interstates. We prefer driving the lesser traveled roads.
