My back is giving me trouble again, it's hard to sit at the desk. So I'm going to take a couple days off from blogging. I should be back for Skywatch Friday.
We are hoping to go to Munich and Prague in November and we are open to tips and suggestions about where to stay and what to do or if you have helpful websites. We have never been to either place.
See you in a couple of days!
Oh! Back pain? I hope you get better soon.
ReplyDeleteWow! Don't forget to post photos after your European trip, would love to see some fantastic photos of the trip.
THat is a beautiful picture. Hope your back gets better soon. You will love Munich and Praag. Have you been to Europe before? Maybe HOlland in the future?
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
Enjoy your break.
ReplyDeletePrague is wonderful, you will enjoy it I am sure.
The Pinkas Synagogue - which acts as a memorial to the jews killed in WWII - is a memorable visit.
Walk everywhere and take lots of camera memory.
I like your 'brick' road, no matter what color.
ReplyDeletePrague is a beautiful city; agree about the cemetery, and you will of course see/cross the Charles Bridge; at night the view reminds me somewhat of Paris.
If you make it to Belgrade, let me know!
I hope that back is better soon, James. That is a lovely shot. I would love to take that walk.

ReplyDeleteDon't miss the Munich Christmas Market (usually starting the last weekend of November) on Marienplatz and don't forget to drink some spiced hot wine...
ReplyDeleteP.S. I am hoping you are using a kneeling chair (a must), it helps a lot. And what abtou an inversion table?

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and lovely shot !! Great location..Unseen Rajasthan
ReplyDeleteJust back from Munich. Be sure to stay in the inner circle if you want to be in walking distance of the center around Marienplatz. eware: The area around the train station is a little red light districty. We stayed at Hotel Reinbold and were not particularly impressed. Wouldn't recommend it.
ReplyDeleteReally like this shot. So many contrasts. Hope you are feeling better very soon, and take care of your back. I have been down that road many many times and sympathize with you. Will look forward to Friday then!

Love the way the orange brick road leads your eye into the ohoto. The tall ship is interesting too.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about bad back, it is annoying hope it eases soon.Lie flat. prague is a beautiful city. Staying near the Old Town Square is handy for walking to most places. We stayed at Grand Hotel Bohemia, it has a fabulous history and a historic ballroom but you have to ask for a staff member to take you on a tour of it.

ReplyDeleteFor today, being a boat lover, I particularly love your picture! The two boats are wonderful, but the white one is very special; This shape makes me think about very old boats; have you got any information about it?..
One great place!
