Watery Love in Philadelphia

If you enlarge the top photo you might recognize the four eagles on the left building from another post. You might also see the Cira Center again it's in the background and slightly to the right in the bottom photo.
The bottom picture was taken at the base of new, tall and really cool building which I'll show more of inside and out in the future.

  3. I like the fountain James ... and the square ... however, I bet that in winter this entire area becomes a windy canyon.

  9. Love the LOVE!
It sure takes me back to my high school days. The 70's were all about peace and love. I have a silver toned necklace with the same shape of this sculpture.
    Great shots!
And, the fountain looks refreshing in among the glass and concrete.

  18. I remember the eagles, it was the rule of four post (or something like that). They stole that Love art piece in New York, don't they?
The last building is very interesting, awaiting more info and pictures!

  33. If I remember correctly, this statue was placed there during our country's bicentennial and when it was removed the owner of one of Philly's sports teams bought it a few years later and returned it to this spot.

Haven't thought about it in years, thanks for sharing!
