OMG...this is such a clever title for this. Before I read your caption I thought well the title is perfect. The Buggy going one way and the truck the other. Well done my friend.
Great shot, both the photo and the pun. There is a small Amish community about 40 miles east of Tulsa and you will see the occasional buggy over there. I have a lot of respect for those folks.
That's great! My first impression was the horse coming and the car going...I don't know if I would have notice the other 'going.' Love the shot both ways!
thanks for the basket james!
ReplyDelete& I had to laugh when I noticed what was behind the buggy.
I know, I am so immature.
Love this James. I really miss seeing this - the buggy, not what's behind it :) Kathy
ReplyDeleteThe place should be named 'Bird In Hand and Poo On Road'.
ReplyDeleteFunny!

ReplyDeleteGreat title James! Poor horse just wanted to lighten up so he could do the speed limit too! Ha!
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
Messy horse. Is this Amish country too? Ir's a pretty place. A nice contrast between animal powered vehicle and gas powered vehicle.

ReplyDeleteThe first word that came to my mind on seeing this post was... CLASSIC !!

ReplyDeleteIn New York Central park, I went in a horse and carriage. They have a pouch to the horse behind so they don't shit every where.
ReplyDeleteHa! I see the Amish haven't start using 'collector' bags...would be good fertilizer.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot. Bird in the Hand is not far from another town with an interesting, though oft misinterpreted name. Know where I mean?
superbe contrasme entre les époques, belle photo, cela peut être un thème pour une exposition
ReplyDelete:) really nice!
ReplyDeleteLOl that is funny. I love those carriages. Great shot
ReplyDeleteSo this funny and beautiful picture is open to other interpretations...
ReplyDeleteI like the picture: great symbol of the differences between today and yesterday, old and new, and ...cleaned and not..!
ReplyDeleteLOL. Lovely shot James!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny. And poignant. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteI have been here and all of the other interestingly named towns in this area! What a great picture James.
ReplyDeleteSimply amazing. We often forget what life used to be and still is for some...beautiful photograph, James.
ReplyDeleteI really love this shot, James. My husband and I have been there, don't you just love the name of that quaint town.
ReplyDeleteA peaceful atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteHowever, it is a view like U.S.A.
I learn a lot from the viewpoint of you who grab such a scene.
The place should be named 'Bird In Hand and Poo On Road'.

Is the sky seriously That blue? I am so jealous, these are amazing shots and the sky contrasts the buildings wonderfully!
