I love stained glass reflections. In this case, I thought it was a reflection in water! Great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique reflection! I too thought it was reflected in water, but now I see it is a highly polished floor!
ReplyDeleteThis is super—and a bit surprising! I'll have to go over there on a sunny day and check it out.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful James. So vivid, even off the floor.
ReplyDeleteThe floor?! woaw! I don't know what I must admire the most, the reflection or this so well polished floor!:)

So pretty James and amazingly clear too!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous reflection - the floor so shinny and good light must have been flowing through the stained glass. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful my friend. :) So pretty. Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love stained glass in churches and we don't see much of it here. This shot is unique because it really is a reflection of a reflection! Great idea indeed and beautifully presented.
ReplyDeleteI never went inside that cathedral when I visited NYC, just saw it from the outside, and it was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe reflection is gorgeous. Makes me wish I had gone inside!
A stunning, unusual setting for a reflection! Really lovely colourings of the elegant windows on the floor!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat reflection!
ReplyDeletePretty cool reflection James!
ReplyDeleteAlmost a puzzle picture. Once I got the paving stones in my mind I was able to truly enjoy the magnificent reflection.
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful reflection, such a plus for the
ReplyDeletechurch, too. I have noticed in NYC these days that
floors are becoming highly polished once more, thus
providing yet another interesting photo opportunity for those of us starved of reflective pools and rivers in
the countryside!
That is such a gorgeous capture, James! The more you look, the more you find! Thanks for the weekly fun! Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteGreat capture, James! They must keep the floors polished.
ReplyDeleteGood heavens -- my floors don't shine like that!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
Beautifully done James! The top of each of the three columns of glass remind me of crowns which makes me think of the three kings.
ReplyDeleteI love the soft golden background color in this too.
Interesting reflections of the colored shapes and patterns.
ReplyDeleteGreat image ... wish you a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWas the floor wet? It's a really beautiful reflection! And so very clear, too :D
