Philadelphia Through a Fountain

I took this shot in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Saturday. I wasn't standing in the fountain but I was tempted. :)

I bet the guy with the camera on the other side of the water took my picture too.
This is two crops of the same photo.

  1. I like how two crops can show such different views. In this case, each really has a different story and I like them both. Yes, you definitely would be in his photo, James. :-)

  7. Oh, I know that view well, right down the parkway to Billy Penn atop city hall. Very imaginative to shoot through the fountain! I bet you're right about being in the other guy's shot! Lots of movement, action, and interaction make these classics!

  10. Both are wonderful versions of the same photo. I've only ever just flown in to Philly, on my way to elsewhere. I really need to visit.

  18. I'd love to run thru that fountain several times, the heat index here in Southeast Missouri is 113 right now! Yesterday, the news said we were the hottest place in the US at 107 temp & 118 heat index! Scorching!

I keep meaning to join Weekend Reflections, but I've been scatter brained lately. I'll be sure to join this weekend
