River Reflections (Weekend Reflections # 74)

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I took this shot last month. I like the way the lights on the bridge work with their reflections to make what looks to me like a mask.

    Your shot is amazing ! It feels like you did get the picture of some gigantic mask : those lights under the bridge and their reflection look like eyes...

    I have the same feeling than you: Carnival is beginning tonight here, and I was thinking of a mask!
    (BTW: those kinds of masks are called in french "loup" , like "wolf").

    Brilliant picture, looks indeed a mask, big eyes are watching you! :)
    The arches in this bridge are so romantic and I've counted about 11 lights in detail, and lots of other little lights, it's beautiful!

    Excellent! A few of us have plans to shoot Philadelphia at night as often as possible over the next several months. I'd love to know where this was exactly! It's truly fantastic!
