Happy Easter!
It was a gloomy day. I looked at the bridge and there wasn't any one around but while I took the picture the woman suddenly appeared like a ghost. :)
If needed, please click the link in the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!
This brown tonality is so warm... And the shape of the bridge is quite unusual too... I like it very much...
ReplyDelete(Are you packing, yet ?)

ReplyDelete:(
Maybe she was a ghost... ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scene, James... fantabulous find!!! =)
We have had our share of gloomy days this Spring. I'm not sure I remember how to photograph in sunlight. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteIt's surprising how suddenly a scene can change between putting camera to the eye and finger to the shutter. In this case the effect changes the mood of the image. Love the bridge and the impact of the woman by the bridge!
ReplyDeleteThe covered bridge makes a great reflection, James. It's hard to beat the warm fuzzy feeling a covered bridge evokes. :))
ReplyDeleteFantastic reflections.
ReplyDeleteYou have taken a wonderful photograph and added the perfect mystery of the lone person entering the covered bridge.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, James. I will catch up with you and what I have missed over the past two weeks.
Bises,
Genie
Bridges have a way of producing people when you least expect them . . . why is that. Great shot. Love the mirror image that's going on.
ReplyDeleteThe muted colors of the landscape and reflections give the picture a feeling of mystery - which is compounded by the ghost-like figure on the bridge.

I think it's Meryl Streep hoping that Clint Eastwood's going to come back (if you haven't seen the Bridges of Madison County you won't have a clue what I'm talking about)
