Ghostly Reflection (Weekend Reflections # 83)

Newtown, Pennsylvania (Tyer State Park)

Happy Easter!

It was a gloomy day. I looked at the bridge and there wasn't any one around but while I took the picture the woman suddenly appeared like a ghost. :)

If needed, please click the link in the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

  1. This brown tonality is so warm... And the shape of the bridge is quite unusual too... I like it very much...

  5. It's surprising how suddenly a scene can change between putting camera to the eye and finger to the shutter. In this case the effect changes the mood of the image. Love the bridge and the impact of the woman by the bridge!

  6. The covered bridge makes a great reflection, James. It's hard to beat the warm fuzzy feeling a covered bridge evokes. :))

  7. You have taken a wonderful photograph and added the perfect mystery of the lone person entering the covered bridge.

Great shot, James. I will catch up with you and what I have missed over the past two weeks.

  8. Bridges have a way of producing people when you least expect them . . . why is that. Great shot. Love the mirror image that's going on.

  9. The muted colors of the landscape and reflections give the picture a feeling of mystery - which is compounded by the ghost-like figure on the bridge.
