Lost in Text (Weekend Reflections # 89)

Do you think this guy had any idea there was a camrea in his face? As you can see from my reflection I walked right up to the window and took the shot.

    Great shot! He is oblivious! They all are! I had to slam on my brakes when a jaywalker suddenly stopped in the middle of the street.He was so engrossed in texting that he didn't move for a while.

    The old saying that God takes care of little children and drunks should now have people texting too.

    That is awesome. I swear, your timing is exquisite. You always know where and when to hit the shutter to capture these candid oh so Human moments. This one speaks on so many levels. I love all the reflections, the little blurry lights coming out of your head, the slight double exposure juxtaposed against the clarity of the subject who is completely unaware of your concentration upon his concentration. Love the black and white. Hope all is well on the road...

    Hi James,
    He looks sort of glum, he was probably obsessively re-reading the "Dear John" message he got from his former girlfriend who dumped him because he was spending all his time playing with his portable phone and not paying attention to her... probably a lot of such cases these days...

    Hope all is well with you, was away in Germany for two weeks with no connection. But am back and hope to be back up to speed soon with photos and blogging... Are you back in California now ?
