Hand in Hand on the Sand (Weekend Reflections # 102)

Newport Beach, California

Sorry for the late post. For some reason Blogger didn't post it at the scheduled time but I should have checked earlier.

I love the look of wave patterns on the sand with reflections on them. I thought about cropping this tighter but I decided to leave their feet to give some perspective, plus this way there's more reflected sunlight on top and wave patterns on the sides.

If needed, please click the link near the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

  6. Here you are James ! I was worried for you in fact : I was thinking accident, or something like that... Glad to see my concerns were silly, and that you have once again a beautiful picture to share with us !

A walk and wet sand at the sunset : how romantical ! A nice way to salute the end of summer break...

  7. I share the concern, James, but I tend to think first of a technical snafu before a personal one. Your shot is perfectly romantic... with feet and reflected hands holding in the sunset. I'd not crop it tighter either.

  9. James, this is a perfect subject for Labor Day weekend as we enjoy the last trip to the beach before we all experience our "la rentrée" to work or school.

Beautiful reflection and I love the ripples in the wet sand.
