Clinton, Oklahoma
A reflection of a biker on an old car and in the window of The Route 66 museum in Clinton Oklahoma. I didn't go inside because I was trying to stay ahead of a tornado. It was a good decision because the tornado struck this area about a half an hour later. I don't think the museum was damaged but I'm glad I wasn't caught in the storm.

ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
ReplyDeleteFor reflection lovers, this one sure has lots going on, James! The car, the biker, the buildings and cars across the street. And then some. Glad you stayed out of harms way.

I always enjoy these shots where you must put some effort into deciding which part of an image is reflected and which is not.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Really love this reflection James.
ReplyDeleteThese are some of my favorite kind of reflections....where you wonder what's inside and what's out and the dimension/depth of the photo has multiple layers-perhaps more than what actually exists. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteHowever, now I'm going to be hearing "Route 66" a la Manhattan Transfer in my brain for the next couple hours.
Happy weekend James.
Great reflection and remembrance of a time since past! (Also a smart choice to not wait for the tornado.)

ReplyDeleteSo much to see in this shot! I didn't know you were a storm chaser? I grew up in OKC, so I know a thing or two about tornadoes. They can be fascinating.

ReplyDeleteDear, James.
ReplyDeleteI like U.S.A. which you photograph.
It is greatly resonant in my heart.
