Torre del Mangia (Weekend Reflections # 131)

Siena, Italy

Sometimes you have to look down to see what's above. This is the Torre del Mangia reflected on a car. The Torre del Mangina is the second tallest bell tower in Europe. A few months ago on my other blog I posted a photo of the tower from the opposite side. Click here if you want to see it.

    Oh, that's brilliant, James! We see alike! Reminds me of my car reflection in Vienna shot. And I clearly remember your wonderful monochrome Siena bell tower image, too.

    James, I loved that area of Italy and remember Siena well. Your reflection looks like a fish-eye lens - fabulous!

    Ah, the ol' reflections on the car trick...great one. This one you got a great mirror. I'm not usually out shooting in the right light for these...but when I try to capture one, always get strange looks. I can handle it thought. Happy weekend James.

    Interesting perspective on the tower, James. I've only ever seen it from the Piazza del Campo, but I love your reflective view!
