Venice, Italy
This isn't the clearest photo so I'll explain. It's a narrow walkway in Venice with a large window on the left that's reflecting the stuff on the right. The hanging sign with the picture of a laughing cat says "Self Service" and below that in small letters it says "Chat Qui Rit" which is French for Laughing Cat.
I hope you all oops I mean y'all have a great weekend! :o)

what a great reflection... have a great weekend~
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection! The narrow streets and alleys of the old towns make interesting photo ops.
ReplyDeleteI always look forward to your reflections, James, and I'm never disappointed!! Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Sylvia
Great reflections, James! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat is a neat reflection - glad you explained it though - I thought it was another look-alike alley! Like the treatment!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your scenes from abroad. They make me a bit jealous, but love them just the same. Those narrow alleys are tricky, but you nailed this shot. I love the BW too. Happy weekend James.
ReplyDeleteI love alleys, we always find many cool and different things in these places!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend James! ;-)
Wonderful reflection , very creative!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I do have the impression that Luna is laughing as well... :)
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
Does this mean you are a Texan in Venics?
ReplyDeleteTrue, Venice has some very narrow alleys, but it makes that city so quaint, among other things:)
what a great pic! :)

ReplyDeleteSomeone told me that the food here is both overpriced and overcooked. Your photo, on the other hand, is perfect! Hope you have a good weekend too, James.
ReplyDeleteIt IS complicated. Glad you explained.
ReplyDeleteGreat result, this picture.
Now that is a great reflection.. Love the old world charm.
ReplyDeleteFantastic reflection and wonderful photo. And a lovely weekend to you as well, hopefully it isn't too hot.
ReplyDeleteThe narrowness of the alley way offers a great opportunity for an unusual photo that almost looks like a detailed fantasy sketch! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteExcellent photo in B & W. I like this reflection, it almost seems a duplicate, very good.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot James! You must have been excited to discover that scene.
ReplyDeleteWonderful in black & white. As always the reflections are outstanding. James, have a great weekend too!
ReplyDeletethe black and white perfectly suits this reflection !
ReplyDeleteI see you are having a great time chasing reflections all over the world !
This is very close to "le Chat Qui Peche" which is a tiny alley in Paris.
ReplyDeleteThis is a clever shot and I love seeing all the details in b/w!
Bises,
Genie
Marvelous shot! :-)
ReplyDeleteA great shot James (your explanation did help) - the B+W treatment tops it off. Wishing you an enjoyable weekend, and thanks for hosting this excellent community blogsite.
ReplyDeleteAn absolutely awesome shot! So interesting.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be there seeing too ..
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection, James. Works well in B&W.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!
I love cats, and this shot really "speaks to me."
ReplyDeleteEvery week I am tickled with your continuing this meme.
Hello James.
ReplyDeleteLabyrinth of Europe is fantastic.
Excellent, James! Captures all the charms of such a place.
ReplyDeleteIt´s great. And so are the explanations (lol)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend
Elisa, Argentina
I love it!
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful reflection shot, James. Camera Powershot 595 noted. I am wondering which camera in the series this is....
ReplyDeleteThat sign is pretty funny. I can see how it caught your attention. I love all the metalwork on it as well. It's kind of amazing how Europe can retain centuries of charm, while here in the USA, all too often, just 50 years old is discarded, abandoned, or demolished. I like it when people respect history and try to keep it alive for future generations to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant reflection shot, James!
ReplyDeleteTout à fait exceptionnelle, et bien sympathique !
ReplyDeleteCats rule! Richard
ReplyDeleteSweet! Great reflection James.
