Pulloveria (Weekend Reflections # 197)
Vienna, Austria
I take thousands of pictures when I travel and usually I remember taking them even years later, but I don't remember taking this one. It took some time for me to read the upside-down/backwards sign but after a little research I discovered it's a clothing shop sign in Vienna. (Pulloveria) I hope you all had a nice week (Canada Day July 1st and Independence Day July 4th)! Have a great weekend!
Please only link posts that have a photo or photos that contain a visual reflection. Reflections can be on water, glass, metal or anything else as long as we can see the reflection. If needed, click the link near the top right corner for instructions. Now, lets have some fun with
Weekend Reflections!
C'est bon de voir la neige en été! :o) A première vue, je croyais que l'enseigne était juste posée par terre! J'espère que tu as pu te reposer pendant les jours fériés. A très bientôt!
Terrific capture as always, James! Except for the snow, it's looks the same as it does in Portland today -- GRAY!!! But I can't complain since we've had some beautiful, warm sunny days this week!! Enjoy your weekend!
A very atmospheric capture, James - makes me want to return to the streets of Vienna (notwithstanding the snow/slush!). Thanks for hosting and sharing.
Oh man I thought it was a wee bit chilly here right now 17C tops today :) it's what you're used to I guess. Brrrr! I think I should stop complaining haha! Fabulous image James.
Seeing the ice in the street makes our heat not seem quite so intense. Actually, we have had enough rain that the temperature is unseasonably cool today. Great reflection.
You have done better reflections I think, but I forgive you. It is not easy to come up each week with something new and I appreciate your efforts to give us an oppertunity to share our photos. Thanks a lot!
I had to look for a bit to really see that it is part of the photo- COOL reflection shot. I'd love to see just an hour or two of snow here..it's so hot!

ReplyDeleteI also like to capture the mirror universe in puddles...
Yes, I agree, it's a great image. I really like this one.
ReplyDeleteA cool reflection for this steamy weekend, James.
ReplyDeleteGuess you didn't go in and buy a pullover, or you'd probably remember taking this shot. It's a good one anyway!
