Walking the Dog (Weekend Reflections # 220

Langhorne, Pennsylvania

I guess you could call this an ambush reflection. First I saw the puddle and then I saw the poodle coming down the path so I pretended to take pictures of trees while waiting for the lady and her dog to walk into the reflection.

As you can see it's been cold and snowy here. :-)

Have a great weekend!

This is the place to see and share reflections click the rules tab above for more information.

  6. Great catch! I love that the reflection takes over...gives us more of a view than the scene itself!

  18. Admit that I've taken that approach once or twice:) Bytheway, since Thanksgiving, where I live is now free from any legal conundrums, so I can sell ... or stay. But I'm hoping for a roomier house, so I don't have to stack my paintings in the hall & have all my kids and grandkids stay overnight!

  21. Quelle élégance, ce chien ? un caniche royal qui en a toute l'allure. Oui, la neige semble être arrivée à certains endroits. Elle a épargné Paris, et c'est aussi bien.
    bon week-end,

  22. Well, I could say, shame on you ... but the picture is well worth the ambush. You never know, you may have started a new trend ... Ambush Reflections. Sounds like fun to me :)

  26. Who doesn't do an ambush photo now and then? I frequently wait for someone to walk in the frame, in order, at the very least, to create a sense of scale. Poodle and puddle go very well together in my opinion.

  34. Oh un caniche Royal ! Avec la manie de la miniature, c'est plutôt rare d'en rencontrer, de nos jours... Et avec son manteau, il est le plus beau pour aller danser !

    Chouette reflet, James, bravo !
