Comme à Lisbonne (Weekend Reflections # 239)

Paris, France                                                                       Le Marais

This photo brings back great memories for me. My camera was wet so I walked into the first open doorway to dry it off. It happened to be the door of a little place in the Marais called Comme à Lisbonne. After I dried off I couldn't resist trying an espresso and one of their delicious Portuguese pastries called pastéis de nata. After my snack I was beyond content, almost blissful, and as I walked out I snapped this street/reflection photo.

    Pasries and coffe are good in this Lisbonne-in-Paris place... Good to know ! I'll try it next time I'm in Le Marais...

    I like your pic, James : the attitude of the men talking together is so natural... And it is never easy to get such a result, so great job !

    Je ne connais pas cette place, mais il s'agit d'une photo très réaliste, pleine de charme. Il pleut à Paris ? très étrange.

    I really like this reflection. Our local photo competition this spring was 'street photography'. This would have been the perfect entry. A winner for sure.

    Great shot, it really captures the atmosphere. Sounds a perfect place. I love wandering around the Marais and I simply adore pasteis de nata.As a total coincidence my reflection this week is in the Marais too.

    Généralement, on s'interesse à l'histoire qui est SUR la photo. Grâce à toi, on s'interesse à l'histoire qui est DERRIERE , et c'est presque mieux !
