Gandalf in My Window (Weekend Reflections # 245)

Holland, Pennsylvania

I was watching the Hobbit on DVD last Sunday night when I noticed Gandalf the wizard reflected in my back window. I'm glad I had a DVD player because the landscapers cut my cable lines, so I had no cable TV and no Internet from Thursday until Wednesday night. It feels good to be back on-line! :-)

Thanks for the great reflections and wonderful comments, have a great weekend!

  9. You caught this reflection at the perfect moment, James! A bit scary how much we've come to depend on the Internet, isn't it?

  11. You not only have nice clean reflecting windows, but you have good taste in movies ... I think I like you :) What a perfect reflection, James ... for some reason the reflections in my windows are not that clear. What's your secret?

  18. Gandalf looks almost as frustrated as I would be without internet. I will have to add the Hobbit to my list of movies to have on hand for when the internet is down. :D
    Have a great weekend!

  20. wow, James, that's a loooong time for neither of those! mine was out for only a day and I was disturbed, especially when talking to the cable people's appointment time. it turned out that it was something on their end and it was repaired by late night.
I love Gandalf's reflection; he's my favorite character in those tales.

  23. That must have been scary ...almost as scary as finding myself in the window of an abandoned old house! I must watch the Hobbit..you have just reminded me. At the moment we are watching a marathon of Game of Thrones ( a lot of it i cover my eyes though!).
