I was watching the Hobbit on DVD last Sunday night when I noticed Gandalf the wizard reflected in my back window. I'm glad I had a DVD player because the landscapers cut my cable lines, so I had no cable TV and no Internet from Thursday until Wednesday night. It feels good to be back on-line! :-)
Thanks for the great reflections and wonderful comments, have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteThanks for hsoting WR.
You caught this reflection at the perfect moment, James! A bit scary how much we've come to depend on the Internet, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteA funny visitor to your window! Sorry to hear about your technical difficulties. But glad you're back online now.
ReplyDeleteYou not only have nice clean reflecting windows, but you have good taste in movies ... I think I like you :) What a perfect reflection, James ... for some reason the reflections in my windows are not that clear. What's your secret?

ReplyDeleteI'm wondering...just who is watching whom?
ReplyDeleteThis is a mystical reflection...although I don't know to much about Gandolf...it is important that your internet is back... Enjoy your weekend...
ReplyDeleteAm reading the Hobbit right now - great reflection:) Gandalf does not look like how I pictured him.
ReplyDeleteGandalf looks almost as frustrated as I would be without internet. I will have to add the Hobbit to my list of movies to have on hand for when the internet is down. :D
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Glad you are back online.. Gandalf is one of my heroes!
ReplyDeletewow, James, that's a loooong time for neither of those! mine was out for only a day and I was disturbed, especially when talking to the cable people's appointment time. it turned out that it was something on their end and it was repaired by late night.
ReplyDeleteI love Gandalf's reflection; he's my favorite character in those tales.
Thank heavens for the DVD!!!
ReplyDeleteVery very cool!
ReplyDeleteBetter Gandalf than a troll eh James.. you may have been on the menue for dinner :)
ReplyDeleteWell, it was a good thing you have good DVDs to watch. Yikes, no internet? Perish the thought.

ReplyDeleteThat must have been scary ...almost as scary as finding myself in the window of an abandoned old house! I must watch the Hobbit..you have just reminded me. At the moment we are watching a marathon of Game of Thrones ( a lot of it i cover my eyes though!).
Not bad at all... to have no cable tv... just joking... not bad at all this reflection!
ReplyDeleteThat, I'd say, is a scary picture!
