Main Street (Weekend Reflections # 257)

Doylestown, Pennsylvania

I know it's sometimes hard to figure out what is the reflection and what's not. Everything in this photo is reflected on a restaurant window. I'd like to go back and try this one again when the sun is in a better position so I could hopefully capture more of the blue sky. Anyway this is a reflected street scene for your viewing pleasure.

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

This is the place to see and share reflections. Click the rules tab above for more information.
A Reflection =  An image given back by a reflecting surface.

  1. Only a few details tell us that it's a reflection, like signs . And the car let us believe we're in England (driving on the "other side of the street" )

  4. It doesn't look like a window, but more like a mirror... Surprisingly neat ! But it show well that it is a reflection (I caught the same details than Malyss ^^), no problem, dear James... And it is an terrific one !

  10. it is only the Express sign that gives away that it's a reflection

  11. Cool shot nonetheless. I can see a bit of distraction on the edges like what one might expect to see when looking through a window. That's how I figured it out. I missed the Express sign, as pointed out by Gerald. Thanks for hosting!

  14. This is a great shot, what really gives it away as a reflection is the words on the street sign

  20. Beautiful clean reflection. If it wasn't for the left edge I might have thought it was just a great street scene. But it is both!
