Can you see the reflection?
You should be able to because this photo is 100% reflection. :-)
Everything you see here was across the street and behind me but reflected in a store window in front of me.
I love Versailles! My wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon and evening there with Madame VDP. If you haven't seen VDP's excellent blog you should check it out! Versailles Daily Photo
As far as I know VDP is the only person who has taken a picture of me while I was taking a picture for Weekend Reflections. I'll share that picture next week.
Happy New Year!!!
nicely done! looking forward to seeing you next week, then! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a crystal clear reflection - it's only the bottom right of the photo that gives away that it's a reflection! Isn't it nice to meet fellow bloggers in person! And in Versaille of all places! Look foraward to seeing you taking a reflection shot!!
ReplyDeleteNow that's really hard to spot without knowing it!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have guessed it without a second look. Neatly done!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very impressive reflection. It's hard to get one like that without a good mirror. Very nice work.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a very clean window!
ReplyDeleteGood one, James! And I'm looking forward to next week's post too.
ReplyDeleteI would have never thought, it's perfect! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteSurprenante cette réflection et pleine de charme avec cette silhouette si naturelle. Versailles est une très jolie ville.

ReplyDeleteSorry about the link James, I don't know why the image is black. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteI can hardly believe this is a reflection. Amazingly clear. Thanks for hosting and linking me in. I have just arrived back in Northern Ireland and trying to get caught up on other people's W Reflections
ReplyDeleteYou take some incredible reflections. If you didn't say they were, we wouldn't know. I like that a lot. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteUn joli ' smoking ' pour célébrer la nouvelle année !
ReplyDeleteHappy new year James !
Biz
Now why don't I remember this one????
ReplyDeleteHaha! Until you mentioned it was a complete reflection I was looking for reflections in the windows, nice one James and yes VDP is one of my favourite blogs also, looking forward to Ciel's photo of you next week.. very best wishes for 2015.
ReplyDeleteWow, you could have fooled me ... that is really clear for a reflection. I assume the window it is reflecting in is very, very clean :) The young lady is too far away for you to tell her that smoking isn't healthy ... hope she figures that out in a reasonable time. Great shot, James and I look forward to seeing VDP's picture of you :) Happy New Year to you as well, James ...
ReplyDeleteAndrea @ From The Sol

And... HOUPS ! I forgot the most important in my previous comment :
ReplyDeleteBONNE ANNEE, BONNE SANTE pour toute ta famille et toi, James !
Now that is a perfect reflection. Good eye!!

Interesting image. I did not say any distortion to indicate this is a reflection.
