New York City
Do you see the reflection? It's not the white light in the center. The reflection is to the right and slightly up from there. Now do you see it? Although partially obscured by the window frame, it's a round plaque of a seated man playing an instrument while a woman dances. On this side of the street it's a reflection, but across the street it's one of three Art Deco roundels on the façade of Radio City Music Hall. The roundels signify dance, drama and song.

Hello James,
ReplyDeleteWithout your description I would not have seen that, very good.
Have a nice weekend.
Greetings Eva
Love Art Deco...and love that purple building!
ReplyDeleteFine reflection of the roundel, but the color of that building is just shocking, it makes for a good photo.
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic composition!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection and unexpected.

Interesting picture. Love the roundel.
ReplyDeleteL'illusion est parfaite. J'adore cet immeuble mais je ne me souviens plus de ce bas-relief art déco. par contre je me rappelle bien avoir vu à cet endroit un concert de F.Sinatra en 1994... Bon weekend
ReplyDeleteThanks for explaining the complicated reflection, I thought it was a podium I was looking at.. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you explained James - I really couldn't decide on this reflective puzzle
ReplyDeleteI would have never guessed that was a reflection. looks as an interior mural to me.
ReplyDeleteMoi aussi je n'avais pas vu le détail, et j'aime aussi beaucoup la couleur rose du bâtiment.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend,
Ava
