Librairie Alain Brieux (Weekend Reflections # 548)

Paris, France

I think this is concave mirror. The reflections appear small and upside-down. Last month after a nice lunch, my friend Arnaud (kwarkito) showed me some amazing shops. This one was small but amazing. I guess you could call it a curiosity shop. It had all sorts of interesting things from old books to antique medical devices. It even had petrified dinosaur eggs!

Happy reflecting!

  2. Such shops are wonderful to browse through. There is a shop in Phoenix, AZ that also has unique objects like scorpions and tarantulas in paperweights as well as other biological things.

  5. A fantastic view of the bookshop - I would have been in heaven in a place like that. Thanks for a view with a difference, James. And thanks for taking him there, Arnaud.

  7. How much are the dinasaur eggs? I'd like to have one to test beside my Mt. St. Helena hardened lava dust egg.
