Île Saint-Louis (Weekend Reflections # 579)

Paris, France

When I saw this mirror attached to a wall I wasn't sure I could capture a reflection because it was dirty and covered with graffiti. I had to get the camera very close to the mirror to avoid the distracting elements.  However, it worked out pretty well because almost everything here is a reflection. The white and yellowish green above the man is some of the graffiti that couldn't be avoided. I think the man was trying to figure out what I was doing.😀

  3. Good one, James. I had to look closely to see this was a reflection. The backward signs gave it away. Have a great weekend.

  4. He definitely looks baffled by your actions.
And a great shot - I wouldn't have guessed it was a reflection

  5. The man thinks that you were looking to see if had some spinach stuck between your two front teeth. Such a good shot that if the green mark were flesh-colored I would have thought it was one of my iPhone photos which usually include my thumb.

  6. James, you found a really good clean spot for your photo, it turned out great. Mrs. Jim and are trying to place the corner, it has food but then don't sooo many there do?

  7. Nicely done! I wouldn't even know it was a reflection if you hadn't said otherwise.

  8. J'aime bien la silhouette de l'homme penché au fond avec ses lunettes et ses pains dans les poches. C'en est une que tu as prise en février dernier ? Elle est super. J'espère que tu vas bien.

  10. Love the man over the street - I can't entirely work out the reflection (you are looking into the mirror at an angle to get the street behind you?)

  11. I love how curious the man is. I can't make out the reflection; my question is the same as Lydia's - are you looking into the mirror at an angle to capture the street behind you in its reflection?
