My back was turned but I could hear a bike coming my way, so I spun around and snapped a quick picture as he zipped by. That's what I'd call a lucky shot. 😀👍

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

It's been a month since the last Covid update for my city.

Newport Beach population 86,000:

As of May 28, 2021, there are less than 50 active cases but there were 2 deaths since the last update. (total deaths 77)  Hopefully the cases will go to zero soon.

I'm glad to see other towns and cities are opening up!

We've almost always rented apartments with washing machines while traveling in Europe, but once while staying in a hotel, we used a  laundromat. It seemed like a waste of valuable time. However, I like to know where the nearest laundromat is just in case. 😎
