Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
I used to see this guy from time to time on Walnut street. I think this picture is from 2013.
I just realized I started Weekend Reflections 13 years ago on September 25, 2009. Thanks for being part of it! 😀
Have a good weekend!
Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.
Please no posed pictures, portraits, animals, etc. unless there is a reflection.

WOW! 13 years hosting your meme James is brilliant Thank you very much. I love this close of shot of the jazz player. Thanks of hosting and I hope you have a great week ahead
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I love coming here every week and your picture this week is really top flight
ReplyDeleteLike the trumpet's player's sweater:) Wow, 2009 - that's worth a celebration!
ReplyDeletetoujours de beaux portraits !
ReplyDeleteJames, you are doing things right to keep on keeping on. Thank you much for your devotion.
ReplyDeleteHave you been to preservation Hall in New Orleans? Jazz is played all evening, its street leads off Bourbon Street, about half an hour. The cover charge buys one drink in a souvenir glass (I think that's what I think I remember. A mixed drink or soft or even water.)
Some famous musicians have played there. BTW, Mrs. Jim is from Louisiana.
..
Oops, half a "block" off Bourban Street. Sorry, google tries to 'fix' me by second guessing, it's wrong sometimes and asleep sometimes when a person needs it.
Delete..
Mrs. Jim is from Louisiana, that's why we go, to see relatives. Her brother was shot down in his P38 plane during WWII and finally his body was brought to New Orleans. We hope to visit that but otherwise there's not much for us. I did have my poboy sandwich there, fried oyster.
Deletep.s. this is the only computer that doesn't have to deal with the being anonymous injury by google.
..
I really like the intensity of this shot and the way he cradles the trumpet. Happy Moonstone Anniversary.
ReplyDeleteLove this artistic capture of a trumpet player
