A simple concept that has existed for more than 150 years in the pools of the Jardins des Tuileries in Paris.
A breath of wind in the sails of these small boats and, with them, sails the happiness of the children directing them with their gaff.

"Street photography is a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge."
James, what a wonderfully classic street photo, and it also has a fine reflection.
ReplyDeleteWell I thought that was Rittenhouse square. Silly me
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect spot to sail a toy boat and so nice to see a child's joyful jump.
ReplyDeleteGood to see a child playing a simple game instead on having their head buried in a phone. James a great street shot. Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he's having fun, outdoor play is good.
ReplyDeleteOur klids did that - we couldn't work out how they always came back. It must be how the sails are set but we couldn't figure it out - great fun!
ReplyDeleteA delightful image!
ReplyDeleteA really playful kid there!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that was the pond where our granddaughter learned about boat tending. Would probably have been 2012 or so. They lived in London but came to Paris a lot on the train.
ReplyDeleteNice capture, James.
