Au milieu des pigeons (Weekend Street/Reflections # 127)

Paris, France

It was a cold day in March 2013 near L'Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel.

                             Have a great weekend!

Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.

Please no posed pictures, portraits, animals, etc. unless there is a reflection.

"Street photography is a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge."

  4. Lovely shot of the young boy and pigeons on a collision course in your street photo.

  5. Nice catch, your camera's photo, not the boy catching a pigeon.
My granddaughter chased them away, I have a Venice one of her doing that. Today's photo is of her riding the train going from London to Paris, either the Eurostar channel one or to an airport to hop a plane further to Paris.
BTW, daughter, her Mom, ran the Paris Marathon in 2013, that I think, was our last of many to Paris. We cheered her along from several places along her way.

    1. The granddaughter says that the Eurostar doesn't make a Paris stop anymore. She's in London working for a couple of weeks now.
Wonder why she won't get to celebrate "Independance Day"??
      Not her company's holiday.

  6. Nicely composed. I like the way that the tilt emphasizes the child's downward gaze.

  7. That's a perfectly caught action shot. I haven't seen many pidgeons here.
