Food cart noir (Weekend Street/Reflections # 138)

 

New York City

Two guys getting a late-night snack in NYC.  The guy on the right reminded me of Robert Mitchum, circa 1940s. If only he were a little taller and wearing a suit and a fedora. 😊

    ah oui, il y a vraiment une ambiance de film noir des années quarante dans cette photo. En effet la ressemblance est assez troublante. Je te souhaite un bon weekend

    James, what a great night street photo. It has a film noir feeling, so Robeert Mitchum fits perfectly.

    I like this night. Shot a lot. Have you ever heard of the photographer Louis Clyde Stoumen? You might really enjoy his night photographs. He also directed some Hollywood films. I look forward to our meetup every week. Enjoy your weekend. Blessings and Aloha!
