Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Several years ago, while walking around Philadelphia, I was startled by a man popping out of a hole in the street. It was during the time that Mexican drug lord "El Chapo" was on the run after escaping from prison via a vast tunnel network. The scene seemed unusual and funny as I took his picture and said, "I found El Chapo!" I don't think the man saw the humor but it made me laugh.😀
If you don't remember or haven't heard about it, here's a news article about "El Chapo." Click

"Street photography is a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge."

ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at the caption for your photo. Yes, I remember this incident well with El Chapo. Thanks for the laugh, I needed that.

ReplyDeleteEl Chapo 😂 You´re real wiseguy. Thanks for the laughts.
ReplyDeleteGosh I've been so busy that I'm horribly late linking up. But on the bright side, I get to see all these other lovely people who have come by. A very humorous photo and story my friend. Thank you for sharing. I wonder if the Philadelphia flower show will be happening soon. Always a breath of spring after a hard winter. Perhaps you will be able to attend then take some pictures to share with us. Aloha.
ReplyDeleteWOW! James that is an excellent shot although I don't think the man might approve. Thanks for hosting and commenting. Have a good week ahead
