Pause-Selfie (Weekend Street/Reflections # 272)

 Lyon, France

It's hard to go very long without seeing someone stop and take a selfie.

Personally, I've never liked having my picture taken. The real irony? After more than 30 years online, I've never posted a single photo of myself—yet I've happily shared pictures of thousands of total strangers. 😕

                                            Have a great weekend!

  Link reflections and/or street photography.

Please refrain from posting posed pictures, portraits, animals, etc., unless there is a reflection.

Street photography is a genre that documents everyday life in public places. The public nature of the setting allows the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge.

  2. I'd say everyone takes selfies these days but you have to hold your chin at just the right angle to get a decent shot.

  3. Agree! I am resistant to putting photo of myself online. Shadows and partial reflections are the self-portraits I do use. Have a beautiful weekend my friend. God bless you

  5. I’ve heard that the artists always paint themselves, even when they are painting someone else. I wonder if you took all your photos of people and had AI analyze them, would it come up with a description of yourself?
