I think Canadian geese look pretty good in black & white. I took these pictures on the side of an old industrial building in Bristol Pennsylvania. Notice the Crazy man on top of the Clock tower. (Canadian,Clock and Crazy)

Happy Birthday Mom! :-)
The crazy man seems to be working, but the geese are preparing to leave? Ours have started.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots - love the reflection of the building in the water. And being a Canadian, I'm rather partial to Canada Geese, except when they poop all over the grass! lol
ReplyDeleteWooow. Nice post. I really like it.
ReplyDeleteThat clock tower is beautiful! I wonder what he's doing up there. I like the geese in black and white too!
ReplyDeleteHave to say you had me fooled. I thought the building was an old prison, though with large windows.
ReplyDeleteI like Canadian Geese, too. They're huge and distinguished looking.
Lordy, lordy ... pass me the bucket. You would not get me up there for all the tea in china!! He does not even have a harness on ... yikes!!
ReplyDeleteCanadian geese are so exact and clean and brilliant ...
You don't realize how close to the edge he is till you blow up the photo. Tell your mom, Happy Birthday from all of us at CDP.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a prison and I thought it was a convict escaping. I love it when you highlight things like him up there. The geese are wonderful in black and white. Excellent photos :)
ReplyDeleteNeat post, James. BUT I don't know how I like Canadian and crazy being lumped together in one sentence. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHowever, I'm impressed you wished your Mom a happy birthday!
OMG where are my manners I went to the next blog in my reader and thought damn, how could I forget this. Hau`oli La Hanau to your mom :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections and the b&wh really suits the shot.
ReplyDeleteI like the tower and also the birds:)
ReplyDeleteA really beautiful image!
ReplyDeleteAll three are great presentations. Did you do something to the top photo to make it that way (ex. in Photoshop) or were you standing somewhere that gave you that eyehole view? Very cool.
ReplyDeleteBlack and white treatment gave a lot of class on the last image. I agree with you on the use of b/w there.
ReplyDeleteGreat images, btw.
Thanks for visiting my entry at www.ewok1993.wordpress.com
I get hassled sometimes when I try to comment using wordpress on blogger :(
Maybe it's Dr. Emmett Brown trying to raise 1.21 gigawatts to power his flux capacitor?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, it's a wonderful structure but the clock tower made me think of 'Back to the Future'.
I love the Canada Geese in black and white.
Sunny :)
I love all the photos but the last one is superb!
ReplyDeleteLovely patterns and textures in the last photo especially.
ReplyDeleteI like all of these shots...the geese are great in B/W...the tower guy is a good capture....Like the spotlight
ReplyDeleteThe guy up on the clock tower is crazy indeed - how scary!
ReplyDeleteI, too, like the last photo a lot.
Great shots, beautiful clock tower, love the geese and the guy on the clock tower is nuts -- but hey, makes a great picture!
ReplyDeleteGreat building, especially the clock tower.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
I really like these shots. I'm so glad you showed the man on the tower. It really put into perspective how big that clock tower is. Wow!
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice the man at first. Glad you mentioned it on your post and I was able to take another look! and i say, that is one HUGE clock tower!! :D the geese look lovely in black and white too.
ReplyDeleteI love your clock tower, and it's a beautiful shot, too! Also, I agree that your geese look great in black and white!
ReplyDeleteIt does remind me of a prison. It looks like it's a well taken care of industrial building and maybe the crazy guy is repairing the roof.
ReplyDeleteNice little pond for the geese.
Very nice shots James!
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
Nice images! Can't believe that guy isn't even tethered! Nuts!
ReplyDeleteLooking at these photos I can't help but wonder if the building is abandoned? However though I wouldnt think they would be fixing the clock if it were. Wonderful clock tower.
Great pics, James. I thought the building was a prison for a moment. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope he use the stairs going down :) Very nice building - beautiful reflection!
ReplyDeleteI got dizzy just looking at him on top of the tower:) The photo of the geese is beautiful; black and white is the perfect choice here. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThey really DO look good in b&w - Excellent photos
ReplyDeleteI wonder what he's doing up there? Cleaning?
Have a great WW!
Magnificent shots! Not only ABC and Watery Wednesday, good for the Windows too!
ReplyDeleteI love clock towers. Each photo is just exquisite - I like the progression from zoomed in top to the bottom w/ geese.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing flying Canadian geese, but this is a particularly lovely photo. Like the clock tower too.
ReplyDeleteThis is my main blog.
ReplyDeleteI agree James, that man is crazy, but your capture is great! Love the clock tower too!
Thank you for highlighting the man on the clock tower. He was the first thing I noticed, and with the highlighting it made it easier to see him. Love the Canadian Geese and I think it is better to see them there than flying into an airplane. At least here they are safe.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
wow! i would NOT be up there! that's for sure. :D great pictures though. love the reflection in the strip of water
ReplyDeleteWonderful post James! I loved this clock tower! All pictures are magnificent!
ReplyDeleteLéia
Awesome. Love all of it!
ReplyDeleteCrazy man on the roof of the Clock Tower is right!!!! Around here he would be fined from OSHA....I was told OSHA sits across the street from jobs and takes photographs of safty infractions...than they write up the fines!
ReplyDeleteGreat photographs!
Happy ABC Wednesday!
Sherry
A chance you showed the man, I did not see him! I hope they won't destroy the place and use it for something else; old industrial buildings often make interesting pictures, and this one is very special with this great clocktower; I find geese funny to observe, in colors or B&W;
ReplyDeleteJames,
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos!!!! :) Do you use Photo shop?
PS I love your blog!
xoxoxoxo
