  4. Now if that cow were in Australia she would be called an Illawarra Shorthorn. What breed do you folk know her by?

  5. I really like your look at rural America. A cow on a farm around here is scarce. Seldom seen. Those big silos that they used to store silage in for their cows in winter are setting empty. Where all the cows went is a kind of mystery. If we ask they say, "No money in milk cows."

That is one nice cow. Howdy Greta. You are fixing to "chew your cud" or have already started. If you don't know that cows chew their cud then you need to Google it. LOL

I am still making history on my Pick a Peck of Pixels blog. Today I posted a Zebra Butterfly with long tails. He is as big as your hand. Most have never seen one. Now you can see one at

  8. Very, very lovely! I thought the scene looked familiar (as in "that kind of looks like PA"), and I saw you're in Newtown. I'm in Centre Co. Nice capture of our part of the world.

  16. The scenery is so peaceful.. and what marvellous colors, so fresh!
I'm not sure Greta is from Guernesey, those cows are really small; But anyway, Greta is lovely, and seems very happy the way she is!

  17. Now see, if this were in Florida there would be a sign "Do Not Feed or Molest The Cow."

BTW, my son got a kick out of that alligator sign also.

I really enjoyed seeing your photos, they are very different from the area I live in. AND, I love your tag line…"I came, I saw, I photographed."
