Pumpkin Shopping and Scenic Driving

On Saturday Vicki and I took a nice scenic drive to Peddler's Village. On the way we stopped at a pumpkin patch so Vicki could by a pumpkin. It rained just a bit, then it turned into a beautiful day.

I really enjoyed seeing all of the Weekend Reflections too.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

  9. Those pumpkins look very big! I always hear people talking about pumpkin this and pumpkin that. That I mean by using pumpkin for cooking and as beauty products. I myself hardly cook them 'cos they shrink too much :o)

  28. Just happen to come across your Blog. Noticed that you are from Newton, PA. That's not far from me. We are here in Reading, PA. The Wife and I have been to Peddlers Village a number of times and always liked it. She just loves to "snoop around." Lancaster County is a great place to be during the Fall Season.

    Nice to meet you.

  33. Thanks for commenting in my Blog. I made a small mistake about the Peddlers Village. However, there is one down in Lancaster County. I think that it's in Intercourse.

Yes, those "racks" were rather short! My feet used to hang out the other side! Also, sleeping aboard a Destroyer that had no air-conditioning for a short time, was no fun. In Vietnam the temp used to get up to 105 deg. at sea!

    Stay well.

  36. Fancy Village, even the colors and background spells Autumn. They produce extra ordinarily huge pumpkins. I used to not like the pie, and now I am loving it!

P.S. My first entry to Weekend Reflections was a huge success, and I get to meet new bloggers. Thanks for hosting, now I pay attention and I have a lot of photos to share in the coming days!

Take care of your back problem!
