The top and bottom statues where on a roof near the flower pot from the previous Weekend Reflections post. There were hundreds of other garden statues around the place too. They were amongst all sorts of rusty outdoor antiques. I only had my 50mm lens and I was glad to find so many interesting subjects to photograph.Well, the rules said to be creative and it could be any face, so here are some stone faces for Sistertex's "Face of the Week" meme. These pictures are wonderful, they look like little leprechauns!I also liked so much the soft red like a detail colour and that lady looks so sad or those guardians are there just to protect her!?Who knows!

ReplyDeleteI heard NYC is the US city with the most gargoyles. I love gargoyles, chimeras, 'mascarons,' or whatever, and photograph them whenever I can, which isn't often, since there are none in Belgrade except this one.
